ABOUT Bischof's Fly Fishing Guide Service

Bischof's Flyfishings is a year round fly fishing guide service specializing in single day and multiple day float trips on our favorite rivers in Oregon. Fly anglers of all skill levels are welcome on our trips.

Summer and winter steelhead, rainbow trout, or small mouth bass, we can put together a valuable learning experience and fishing adventure for anyone.

 

Brandon Bischof

Born and raised in Central Oregon, Brandon grew up fly fishing for trout and steelhead at his father's cabid (Redsides Lodge) on the Deschutes River. 1998 was the beginning of his guiding career on the Deschutes and in 2002 Brandon with his wife Mary started Bischof's Flyfishing out of Maupin, Oregon.

Having fly fished some great water in Montana, Alaska, New Zealand, Mexico, and the Bahamas, Brandon believes some of the best angling opportunities are right here in Oregon.

 

 

Mary Bishchof

Born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Mary grew up in the outdoors ski racing, and fishing. In 1985 she moved with her family to Ashland, Oregon and from there made here way to Bend, Oregon where she met brandon and learned about fly fishing. Mary spent seven years guiding and instructing fly fishing and gained a wealth of knowledge from her experience on the river.

Now a full time mom, Mary is the person in charge of this operation and is the helpful and informative voice on the phone, the trip coordinator and luckily for our guests she caters the well planned meals for our overnight trips.
