Bischof's Flyfishing is a licensed and insured guide service specializing
in single day, and 2-3 day camping and fly fishing float trips on Oregon's Deschutes River.  It is owner operated
by Brandon and Mary Bischof. Years of boating, fishing, guiding and living on the river year round in Maupin has provided us a wealth of knowledge and information about the Deschutes and the fascinating strain of trout and steelhead that survive in this high desert river. Our service caters to first time fly fishers to seasoned veterans, and everyone else in between. We do our best to make each and every trip memorable and unique. Born
and raised in Central Oregon, Brandon grew up fly fishing for trout and steelhead at his fathers cabin on the lower Deschutes River.
A Deschutes River fly fishing guide since 1998, Brandon has also been fortunate enough to catch many different species of fish on a fly in Alaska, Yucatan, Baja, and New Zealand. Fly Fishing for steelhead takes up most of his free time along with bird hunting, fly tying, and traveling.
Brandon runs and owns Bischof's Flyfishing with his wife Mary and resides in Maupin, Or.

MARY
BISCHOF
Born
in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Mary grew up ski racing. In 1985 she moved  with her family to Ashland, Oregon and from there made her way to Bend, Oregon where she spent her years attending college, snow boarding Mt. Bachelor and floating and fly fishing local rivers, mainly the Deschutes.
Now living in Maupin full time, Mary, along with her husband, operate Bischof's fly fishing guide service. She is the helpful and informative voice on the phone, replies to customer e-Mail and also prepares appetizing food for your day or overnight fly fishing trips. She has dedicated herself to teaching and guiding fly fishing and is a knowledgeable, friendly and experienced guide on the lower Deschutes River.
