DESCHUTES RIVER SUMMER FISHING REPORT 2008

CURRENT CONDITIONS - JUNE-

fThe trout fishing has been good we have had nice stone fly and salmon fly hatches and these last couple of weeks the fish have been feeding steadily on the large dry flys.  There have been green drake hatches in the afternoons as well as dun hatches.  The nymph fishing has been productive when the dry fly hatches slow down.  The river is in great shape it is clear and running a bit higher then average years.  In a couple more weeks as summer heats up the caddis hatches will become the dominent dry , wet and nymph fly to catch a Deschutes redside.
