Born
and raised in Central Oregon Brandon has grown up fly fishing
Oregon waters. Brandon's father was part owner of a fly fishing
lodge on the Lower Deschutes River for eleven years allowing Brandon
countless days of fishing for redside trout and steelhead from
his youth on.
After
graduating Bend High school in 1995 Brandon went straight to work
on local rivers assisting other guides on the Deschutes, Crooked
and Rogue rivers. Brandon now lives in Maupin Oregon with his wife
Mary and has been guiding full time since 1998. Fly fishing, fly
tying, boating, and occasional wing shooting take up the rest
of his free time.
MARY
BISCHOF
Born
in Steamboat Springs Colorado Mary spent much of her youth alpineskiing,
eventually becoming
a junior Olympic ski racer. After moving to Oregon in 1985 and graduating
from Ashland High School in 1991, she moved to Bend, Oregon and attended
Central Oregon Community College where she pursued the outdoor life
snowboarding, floating rivers, and fly fishing. Mary is an experienced
oarsman in a drift boat and a knowledgeable fly fisherman. She has now
devoted herself to teaching people about fly fishing, and guiding the
Crooked and Deschutes rivers. Mary has proven to be a great instructor
with novice anglers and is a favored guide among women fly fishers.
